Geoffrey Davis, brother of slain Councilman James Davis, finishes hunger strike over gun violence

BROOKLYN - Next Tuesday marks the 10-year anniversary of the fatal shooting of James Davis, a Brooklyn city councilman killed inside City Hall.

To mark the anniversary, his brother Geoffrey has camped outside City Hall for the last 10 days and engaged in a hunger strike.

The 10-day hunger strike ended today at 12 p.m.

Geoffrey Davis says he staged the strike to honor his brother and all others who have died from guns.
