BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn junior high school was briefly evacuated this morning after a bomb threat was called in.

City Councilor Charles Barron (D-Brooklyn) says two people phoned George Gershwin Junior High School and said a bomb was inside. The call came in shortly before a math test started.

The students were taken to neighboring schools until the NYPD searched the building and gave the all clear.

Students and staff were let back into the building shortly before 11 a.m.
