DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN - A Downtown Brooklyn high school was evacuated Monday afternoon after a bomb threat.

The threat was made concerning George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School on Johnson Street. The Department of Education says the threat was made at around 3 p.m.

Students at the high school were dismissed and other students remaining for after-school activities were evacuated.

Police and firefighters searched the building.
