BROOKLYN - A 94-year-old Brooklyn man facing eviction will be able to stay in his home a little longer.A housing court judge has granted Dominick Diomede a six-week extension after an anonymous person gave Diomede's landlord $2,000. The gift will let Diomede stay in his apartment until the end of February while he looks for a new place to live. The good Samaritan also offered to help pay Diomede's rent as he searches for a new apartment.Diomede moved into the apartment about 20 years ago. He claims the building's new landlords want him out because he can't afford the rent increase.
