BROOKLYN - Gov. Andrew Cuomo was in Brooklyn today to spread holiday cheer, stopping by the Hope City Empowerment Center on Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights.

Cuomo's office distributed 100 toys, 200 coats and 200 books to the center. They were donated by private corporations and New Yorkers.

Cuomo also made stops in the Bronx, Manhattan and Yonkers today.

This year, the Toy Industry Foundation has donated over 238,000 toys valued at more than $3 million to New York children.
