BROOKLYN - Gov. Andrew Cuomo held a press conference in downtown Brooklyn Friday to discuss the challenges the city will face during a five-year, $29 billion plan to restore New York City's aging transit system.

In addition to new subway cars and improved tracks, Cuomo says the plan includes access to Wi-Fi and improved cellphone service.

Eventually, the plan intends to expand the digital pay services to all subway and bus systems.

The governor says all 278 subway stations in the city will have Wi-Fi by the end of 2016.

The city hopes to complete most of the upgrades by 2018.
