DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN - Students at Brooklyn Law School heard arguments Wednesday against legislation that would heavily scrutinize animals viewed as dangerous.

To make its point, the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund invited a star witness, of sorts; Hector, a pit bull that was once part of football player Michael Vick's dog fighting ring.

Hector's owner, Roo Yori, says his pit bull isn't violent by nature and simply needed a change of scenery.

"He needed a change to get out of that situation," Yori says. "He's just a good dog."
