Group hands out census at Williamsburg subway stop

BROOKLYN - Cornell students and a non-profit group set up a small booth at the Morgan Avenue subway stop to encourage residents to fill out the census.

Churches United for Fair Housing and the students handed out census forms to residents. At 13 percent, Williamsburg has the lowest census return rate of any area in the city, according to the census website.

Many said they were willing to fill out the form but had just been busy.
