CROWN HEIGHTS - An anti-violence group is hoping to make inroads against crime in the Crown Heights community.

The Save Our Streets initiative, which mirrors a similar program started in Chicago, was formed in February with the purpose of reducing gun violence in Crown Heights.

Local business owners say it's time the community started taking back its streets one block at a time.
