BROOKLYN - An advocacy group says it plans to vigorously watch over the New York City Housing Authority as it spends $423 million in stimulus funds.

The group, Community Voices Heard, says it wants to make sure the city agency uses the funds properly and follows through on plans to employ thousands of people for remodeling projects across the city.

The NYCHA did not respond to News 12 calls for comment.
