Guardian Angels begin Flatbush patrols

BROOKLYN - The Guardian Angels task force has begun patrolling the Flatbush neighborhood where a rapist is allegedly on the loose.

Dressed in red, the men are passing out flyers and alerting residents about three assaults that police say have occurred in the area.

The Guardian Angels say they want women to know that someone other than police officers is looking out for them. They say they will stay in the neighborhood as long as residents want them.
