BROOKLYN - A gun buyback will be held today in Brooklyn, giving residents the chance to collect as much as $200 for turning in their weapons.

Handguns and assault rifles can be turned in for a $200 bank card. Rifles and shotguns can be traded in for a $20 bank card. The program, organized by the NYPD and the Brooklyn district attorney, collected 113 weapons during a buyback last month.

The event will be held today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Christian Cultural Center on Flatlands Avenue.
