Heat and humidity make a comeback

BROOKLYN - ? The heat and humidity are making a comeback.

Temperatures are expected to climb past 90 degrees over the weekend. The city has opened cooling centers throughout all five boroughs to help residents cope with the heat.

The city?s Department of Health is reminding people to stay out of the sun if possible, drink plenty of water and never keep kids and pets in a parked car.

Con Edison is not currently reporting any power outages, but advises residents to be cautious of their energy use.
