BROOKLYN - Coney Island residents are trying to recover after severe flooding on 35th Street and Neptune Avenue this weekend.

Several residents in the area were displaced as their homes began flooding. Officials say many cars leaving the area were also stranded during the heavy rainfall.

The Red Cross is offering assistance to those displaced by the flooding.
