BROOKLYN - Borough President Eric Adams and America Works of New York hosted a hiring event Friday for low-income residents.

Companies conducted interviews on-site at Borough Hall. Dozens of employers participated in the event, with more than 100 open positions.

Some notable companies who participated were Duane Reade, Staples and Nathan's.
