Homecrest residents protest construction

HOMECREST - Nearly 100 residents gathered in Homecrest to protest the construction of a condominium complex in their neighborhood.Restrictions regarding high buildings were put into effect into this area. Construction on the complex?s foundation began prior to the down zoning, so permission was granted to the developers to continue building. Protesters are complaining that noise and traffic due to the construction affect their wellbeing. Residents are also arguing that the foundation is not complete, and that construction should be stopped and the site returned to its previous state.
