BROOKLYN - Hundreds of cancer survivors gathered in Downtown Brooklyn today to share their stories and learn ways to raise money toward finding a cure. The event was part of the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer awareness program, the largest such initiative in the nation. According to the American Cancer Society, half of all women newly diagnosed with breast cancer will use their services.
