INDUSTRY CITY - Hundreds of teens and young adults from across the five boroughs put their heads together to talk climate change this weekend.

Young attendees participated in workshops in Industry City for the third annual NYC Climate Justice Youth Summit. They focused on topics like climate justice and housing.

Brooklyn nonprofit organization UPROSE hosts the two-day event and fundraisers ahead of time so it is completely free.

Anyone ages 14-24 was invited to attend the Friday and Saturday event.
