BROOKLYN - Hundreds of teens turned out for an annual youth conference at Brooklyn College Wednesday in hopes of landing a job right in the borough.

Several local organizations were on hand for the Community Board 4 event to inform young people about job opportunities, internships, volunteer work and other activities.

Organizers say the conference is a chance to help teens get their foot in the door.
