Hunt is on for 3 suspects in robbery spree

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for two men and a woman who they say are responsible for a cell phone store robbery spree.According to authorities, from the end of July and up until last Wednesday, the trio robbed nearly a dozen MetroPCS stores in Brooklyn and Queens, including the one at Washington Avenue and Lincoln Place that was held up Aug. 29.

Police say the robbers would enter a store, produce a gun and then run off with cash.

Officials say no one was injured during any of the robberies.

The two male suspects are between 20 and 25 years old, and the woman is between 18 and 23 years old. Anyone with information on the suspects is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577 TIPS.
