Hunt is on for suspects in 2 stabbings

Police are searching for two suspects in connection with two separate stabbing in Brownsville.The first incident took place Nov. 14, 2009, at around 1 a.m.,

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for two suspects in connection with two separate stabbing in Brownsville.

The first incident took place Nov. 14, 2009, at around 1 a.m., when police say 46-year-old James Roberts stabbed a 56-year-old man during a dispute at the intersection of East New York and Rockaway avenues.

On Dec. 13, investigators say 22-year-old Jalanea Smallwood stabbed a 24-year-old man in the stomach on Legion Street. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information on either suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
