THE BRONX - When the Easter Bunny comes this weekend, he doesn't need to leave heaps of fatty chocolates and sugary sweets.

News 12 visited the Mount Carmel Pharmacy in the Bronx for some ideas that aren't heavy on candy.

One option is to do a themed basket that revolves around a child's favorite band or sport. The pharmacy sells One Direction baskets that include the group's fragrance. It also offers baseball-themed baskets for young sluggers.

For baskets that must include food, healthier options include dark chocolate, which is filled with anti-oxidants, or milk chocolate that has nuts or fruit. Carrots are also a good Easter treat.
