NEW YORK - IHOP marked its 58th birthday with a special deal on its short stakes at participating locations Tuesday.

IHOP offered 58-cent short stacks of its original buttermilk pancakes.

The pancakes actually cost customers 4-cents less than it did back in 1958 when the original pancake house opened near Los Angeles.
