PARK SLOPE - An infant CPR class was held today at the Birth Day Presence center in Park Slope.

The center's owner, Jada Shapiro, says CPR is essential for all parents to know. "If a parent knows how to perform CPR, you are in a much better position because it's all about the seconds that count."

Vanessa Anton, who taught the class, says she aims to make parents understand they actually have skills that could save their child's life.

Birth Day Presence also offers classes on safety for expectant parents.
