Intersection in East Flatbush causing accidents

East Flatbush residents have seen one too many accidents at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Avenue D.Residents say they have seen more than 20

EAST FLATBUSH - East Flatbush residents have seen one too many accidents at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Avenue D.

Residents say they have seen more than 20 accidents so far this year. Local merchants have reached out to the Department of Transportation to make a change, but so far there hasn't been any.

Today there was another accident at the intersection.

Transportation officials say over the past four years, there have been an average of nine reported car crashes each year and two pedestrian accidents. This year, one person was killed in a crash.
