BROOKLYN - Police in Brooklyn are puzzled after they say a man stole thousands of dollars from the bank accounts of four women without even using a debit card.

They say the suspect stole over $3,000 from four women's accounts on March 14 and 15 using the victims’ account information at various TD Bank locations around Brooklyn. They say the man used the women's information at different ATMs and was able to withdraw increments of $700 each time.

In all cases, police say the victims reported having their debit cards on them at the time of the thefts.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how the man was able to obtain the victims’ banking information.

Police have released an image of the suspect that was taken on one of the TD Bank ATMs.
