Investigators seek cause of Greenpoint fire

Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at an apartment building in Greenpoint. An emergency call came in just after 9 a.m.

BROOKLYN - Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at an apartment building in Greenpoint. An emergency call came in just after 9 a.m. today. Witnesses say the two-alarm fire started in the superintendent's apartment on the first floor of the four-story building. Officials say one person suffered minor injuries. The Department of Buildings will determine the extent of the damage and whether it's safe to let tenants back inside.
