BROOKLYN - Family and friends are mourning the death of a teenager who was fatally shot in Brownsville.
Police say they received a call of shots fired at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at 1859 Prospect Place. They say they arrived to find Iquan Williams, 16, shot in the head.
Williams' younger brother says the gunman, who has not yet been identified, was bragging on Facebook that he was going to shoot up a party his brother was attending.

Community leaders say teenagers are using social media in an incorrect manner by creating havoc. In the wake of this shooting, neighborhood activist Tony Herbert is reminding the community of the importance of gun control.
Police are still searching for the gunman. Williams' family says they will not rest until their son's killer is brought to justice.
