Students say they have gone through many prototypes

Students say they have gone through many prototypes and blueprints before figuring out the perfect robot for any task given. (March 8, 2014 7:41 PM)

After almost a year of hard work building homemade robots, some local students showed off their skills today.

Students from It Takes a Village Academy, along with more than 350 others from the New York City area, participated in New York University's "Robot Bee."

The First Tech Challenge Regional Championship is a competition filled with technical, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
