BROOKLYN - A young motorcyclist is dead after crashing on the Belt Parkway.

According to police, 21-year-old Jasmine Calix was found lying on the pavement at Knapp Street at around 9 p.m. Sunday.

She was transported to Coney Island Hospital with severe head trauma and pronounced dead.

Investigators say the bike skidded and fell over, tossing Calix into the road.
