BROOKLYN - A Jefferson High School basketball star entering his senior year already has Division One college ball in his future.

Jaquan Lynch has given a verbal commitment to play at Florida International University.

The 6-foot guard from Coney Island helped lead Jefferson to its first-ever borough championship last season and to the city championship game at Madison Square Garden.
