BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn man is in police custody for allegedly touching young girls inappropriately on the streets of Park Slope.

According to police, 34-year-old Jesse Dailey first approached 10- and 11-year-old girls on 5th Avenue on Sept. 20. They say he came up from behind, rubbed up against one girl and squeezed the other on her backside.

Dailey struck again on Nov. 11 on 4th Street, where he’s accused of squeezing the backside of another 11-year-old girl.

Authorities say that while investigating the incidents, they stopped to question a man who fit the description, but he assaulted an officer and fled.

Police were eventually able to identify Dailey and arrest him at his Park Slope home. He’s facing a number of charges, including sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.
