A local human rights group is saying refugees are welcome in the borough with a poster campaign aimed at increasing acceptance of Muslims.

The Jewish Voice for Peace group created a poster showing a man and young child bundled in his coat underneath the phrase, "Refugees are welcome here." Organizers say it is a stand against anti-immigrant discourse around the country.
