BROOKLYN - A baby boy survived a fall from a second story window in Bay Ridge thanks to the quick thinking of the daughter of a New York baseball legend.

The parents of 1-year-old Dillon Miller are now facing charges after their child fell off the apartment’s fire escape. Luckily, Christina Torre, the daughter of former Yankees manager and Mets catcher Joe Torre, watched the scene unfold.

Authorities say she put herself in a position to catch the falling child, who was taken to Lutheran Medical Center with minor injuries.

Police said 23-year-old Sam Miller and 24-year-old Tiffany Demitro were charged with reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
