BROOKLYN - A man was found stabbed to death overnight in the lobby of a Fort Greene housing complex.

Emergency officials responding to a 911 call discovered John Reeves at 117 North Oxford Walk at the Whitman Houses.

Investigators say the 39-year-old victim was unresponsive with stab wounds to his chest. He was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital and pronounced dead.

Reeves had spent time in jail for drug-related crimes in the past, but police say it's unclear if there is any connection to his murder.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
