BROOKLYN - A judge upheld Long Island College Hospital's temporary restraining order on Monday.

Under the order, the hospital must remain open and patients cannot be removed. The temporary measure was issued back in February.

SUNY Downstate, which operates the hospital, has been threatening to close the facility since January. The hospital's ambulance service was shut down last month.

News 12 was told the hospital's supporters will hold a rally on Wednesday afternoon.
