CROWN HEIGHTS - The big West Indian Day Parade isn't until Monday, but children did their celebrating today with the Junior Carnival in Crown Heights.

Thousands of children between the ages of 2 and 16 participated in this year's parade, marching in traditional West Indian costumes.

Children at the festival say they like the parade because it gives them an opportunity to share their culture with others.
