Junior's celebrates 60 years of delicious desserts

BROOKLYN - The cheesecake is made fresh daily, but the restaurant is officially golden-aged.

Junior's Most Fabulous Restaurant and Bakery turns 60 this year and it's sharing some of its birthday cake with all of Brooklyn. Stop by the glitzy Flatbush Avenue location today for a free slice of New York cheesecake with any entree (or a 60 cent slice on its own).

Since its doors opened in 1950, the eatery has gained fame for its overstuffed deli sandwiches, its juicy steak burgers and, of course, its top-notch cheesecake. Over the years, the divine desserts have lured in locals, celebrities, athletes and even a few presidents.
