BROOKLYN - Kanye West said at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards that he wants to run for president in 2020.

He made the announcement in his acceptance speech for the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

The singer apologized to Taylor Swift for taking her microphone back in 2009 and bashed MTV before adding, "And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president."
