THE BRONX - New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly delivered an address Wednesday about the NYPD's continuing anti-terrorism efforts.

Kelly gave the speech at the Breakfast for Better New York. He told attendees that since Sept. 11, at least eight terrorist plots had been hatched targeting New York City landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge, the New York Stock Exchange and the Citicorp building.

The commissioner assured New Yorkers that they should feel more protected from terrorist threats than ever before thanks to the creation of a counterterrorism task force.

Kelly also praised Mayor Michael Bloomberg for providing the NYPD with the resources necessary to keep the city safe.
