BROOKLYN - Kendale Robinson has been sentenced to life in prison without parole after pleading guilty to killing a 16-year-old in Bushwick.
Robinson, 22, admitted to shooting Altaya Conyers in the head on Wycoff Avenue back in 2010.
The judge described the murder of Conyers as a despicable, cold-blooded, evil act that will not be tolerated by the justice system. He went on to say that Robinson needs to be removed from civil society.

Conyers' family believes Robinson committed the crime because she was a witness in a case against Robinson's friend who had allegedly assaulted her.
Conyers' aunt says the ruling brings some closure to the family.
