WILLIAMSBURG - The man accused of killing a Williamsburg businessman made his first criminal court appearance today.

Kendel Felix, 26, is facing second-degree murder and kidnapping charges in the January death of Menachem Stark.

Police say Felix confessed to kidnapping Stark, who died after being abducted. The Nassau County medical examiner determined that Stark died from asphyxiation.

Stark's body was found in a dumpster on Long Island. Investigators say that the 39-year-old was abducted by two suspects outside his realty office in Williamsburg.

In surveillance video, Stark is seen struggling with two people and then being forced into a van.

News 12 has learned that more people are also being questioned in connection to the murder.

Felix is expected to be back in court Monday.
