KeySpan fills potholes in Brighton Beach after call to News 12 Brooklyn

BRIGHTON BEACH - A Brighton Beach man?s pleas to have pot holes filled on Brighton 3rd Street were answered Friday when KeySpan fixed the problem.

Judd Fischler says KeySpan left two large potholes for more than a month near his home after working in the area. Fischler felt it was an accident waiting to happen, so he called KeySpan, which he says never returned his calls. He then tried the city?s 311 information line for help, but was directed to the Department of Environmental Protection. Fischler finally turned to News 12 Brooklyn for help.

KeySpan crews filled the holes moments before a news crew arrived. The utility tells News 12 Brooklyn it only became aware of the problem Wednesday.
