CROWN HEIGHTS - Brooklyn families gathered together today at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum to celebrate the first day of Kwanza.

Brooklyn residents marked the day with classes, crafts and parties at the museum.

The holiday lasts seven days and will continue into January.
