BROOKLYN - The continued lack of power in Brooklyn has forced many residents of the Amalgamated Warbasse Buildings on Ocean Parkway to navigate staircases with flashlights just to get into their homes. Some elderly neighbors have been stranded in their apartments with no water for several days because they physically can't go up and down the stairs to get anything.Other residents of the building are concerned with the election; normally residents would vote on the first floor, but many will be unable to reach it.Fortunately the management company has brought in a temporary generator.
