BROOKLYN - Jury deliberations are set to continue Monday in the trial of Lamont Pride, the man accused of fatally shooting NYPD Detective Peter Figoski back in 2011.

Pride is accused of killing the veteran officer during a botched robbery in Cypress Hills.

PBA President Pat Lynch says he believes the jury in the case will return with a guilty verdict on the charge of second-degree murder.

Michael Velez, who is accused of being Pride's lookout, is also currently on trial. Both Pride and Velez face life in prison if convicted.
