BROOKLYN - More than 20 law enforcement officers including the late detective Peter Figoski were honored for their service by the district attorney today.

District Attorney Charles Hynes presented his 22nd annual law enforcement appreciation awards at Brooklyn Law School.

Detective Figoski, who was killed when responding to a robbery in Cypress Hills, was honored posthumously.

His colleagues accepted his award in his honor.
