BROOKLYN - A Fort Hamilton High School teacher was just venting when she made comments about bringing a gun to school, her lawyer says.

Prosecutors say Sabrina Milo, 34, threatened it would be "Columbine all over again," referring to the 1999 high schoolshooting in Colorado.

Milo worked as an art teacher at the school and has worked within the Department of Education since 2001.

Several teenagers told the Daily News Milo was eccentric, well-liked and that she was probably joking.

Milo is currently out on bail. If convicted, she faces up to seven years in prison.
