BROOKLYN - Republican gubernatorial candidates went to the polls to cast their ballot in today's primary election.

Former Long Island Rep. Rick Lazio is up against Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino.  Recent polls show the two are neck-and-neck in the race.

The winner of today's primary will face off against Democrat and current Attorney General Andrew Cuomo in November.
