Leon Sims arrested in pipe assault at Ralph Avenue subway station

Police say the 25-year-old has been charged with two counts of felony assault. (10/1/13)

BROOKLYN - An arrest has been made in a violent pipe attack on a Brooklyn subway platform.

Investigators say 25-year-old Leon Sims hit a man in the head with a pipe while he was waiting for the C train at the Ralph Avenue station.

Sims is charged with two counts of felony assault.

The attack happened on Sept. 22.
